Hip Hop Hassid
This 26 minutes documentary follows the personal story of Shneur Hasofer, also known as Describe, an hassidic jewish rapper based in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.
This is my thesis film at the graduation of the Conservatory Documentary Filmmaking program at New York Film Academy in 2011-2012.
Winner Best Documentary at The Art of Brooklyn Film Festival 2012, Hip Hop Hassid was screened at the European Film Festival in Paris, Brooklyn Girls Film Festival, Feel Good Film Festival in California, Director Circle Film Festival, Toronto international film TV and video awards.
